Simple, but effective
I used this for the first time last night with my 19 year old autistic son. After many years of using various token economy systems he immediately grasped its intention. Although the concept is very simple he found it rewarding enough to complete requests he normally balks at uncomplainingly. He was more interactive with me as he counted down the remaining stars with each completed task. And he knew all along he was working for 1 hour of computer time so there were less protests when his time was up on the computer. Im getting him an iPad for Christmas so Im testing out apps now and this one definitely is going to be used.
About the only thing Id like to see added is the ability to customize the vocal praise by recording your own.
Now if Apple will add time limits to their parental controls on the iPad Ill be a happy camper. LOL.
